SAFARI'S LET'S MOVE IT ON
Hi Guys
You may not know me but I'm sure you will be aware off East Devon Off Road Club EDORC, and SCOR, Southern Counties Off Road Club.
All three clubs have a great history in safari racing, as great as we know the sport is, times have changed and the drop in event entries has been felt between us all.
Something needs to be done:
The SOUTH as a whole has a great safari base in terms sites and excellent drivers at all levels, it would be great if we as a whole could get everyone together at the same time. First is communication, talking between the clubs is crucial. Having been in contact with the very friendly Mark Deacon and Toby Cameron from SCOR, We are all keen to work together.
Right then, obviously this years events have already been booked so clashing of dates is inevitable, hopefully we can organise next year so as not to compete against, but with each other.
Attached is an ENTRY FORM for which YOU ARE INVITED TO BICKLEIGH SAFARI on the 25TH AUGUST Bank Holiday Monday.
We as a club are there all weekend, so you're welcome to come and join us the night before. SCOR are also invited and will be counting it as a round of their championship, and with our lot eager to get out this year it should be good. Look forward to seeing you there!
THE SOUTH IS NOW ON THE MAP:
The British Cross Country Championship BCCC is coming to Devon. This national event will be held at Hartnoll Farm, Hartnoll Ind. Est. (at the show ground) TIVERTON DEVON 16TH &17TH AUGUST.
This is a chance to see the best of the best actually on our door step, the perfect inspiration for the next weeks Bickleigh safari.
